Rue Caroline sits on the edge of Lausanne's old town, just across the Bessières bridge from the cathedral. It is a quiet residential street, yet everything is within a few minutes' walk: the cathedral and the medieval centre, place de la Riponne and its museums, the bars and restaurants of Le Flon just below, and the food market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. The CHUV university hospital and the university quarter are close by, and the metro takes you down to Ouchy and the lakeside shore in a few stops.

The whole duplex is yours — both floors, the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the kitchen, the living room with the pool table, and the private rooftop terrace. Nothing is shared with anyone else. The apartment has its own entrance, and check-in is flexible: someone from our team can welcome you and show you around, or you can let yourself in on your own if you land late or leave early in the morning. We agree on whichever suits you before you travel, and send the access details in advance. The building's stairwell and lift are shared with the other residents, as in any Lausanne apartment building. The rooftop is for your exclusive use throughout the stay — we simply ask that noise be kept down after 10pm out of consideration for the neighbours.
